If you are looking for a Stotles alternative, start with what you use Stotles for. Its pricing page lists two products, Sales Studio and Bid Studio, and its tenders page says search “is free and open”. If you rely on those products, staying is probably right. If you mainly want a short emailed list of tenders you can realistically bid for, a tool that checks notices against your insurance, certifications and location fits better. That is what TenderWorthy’s Pro plan does, and free government alerts cover the basics at no charge.

This page is dated as at 11 Oct 2026. TenderWorthy is one of the services compared, so weigh our view accordingly. We publish a competitor’s price only when we have captured it from the vendor’s own page. We captured the pricing pages for Stotles, Tracker Intelligence and Tenders Direct on 11 Oct 2026 (Tracker publishes no prices).

How we compare. We follow the rules on comparing identifiable competitors: like-for-like needs, features a reader can verify, and no disparagement (CAP Code, section 3; ASA guidance; Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008, regulation 4). Feature and coverage claims are the vendor’s own and are attributed. “Not assessed” means we have not checked this for that vendor, not that the feature is missing. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Stotles in brief

On its tenders page, Stotles says its search “is free and open”, with no sign-up needed to look through notices, and that it draws on “100+ sources, aggregated and deduplicated” (alerts need an account). Its pricing page lists two products, Sales Studio and Bid Studio, each with a free plan.

We have not tested Stotles, and we make no claims about the quality of its data or tools. Read the pages above for what each plan includes today.

Prices, as published on stotles.com, 11 Oct 2026:

  • Sales Studio: Free £0/mo (tender tracking and pre-tenders); Basic from £75–£99/mo (page shows both); Growth from £475/mo; Expert custom.
  • Bid Studio: Free £0 (3 lifetime AI bid/no-bid reports); Growth from £495/mo; Expert custom.

The pricing page states no per-user or annual terms.

Who should choose Stotles instead (or stay)

Stotles is the better choice, and TenderWorthy is not a substitute, in these cases:

  • You want what Stotles’ plans include. Its pricing page lists Sales Studio and Bid Studio plans, from free to Expert; check there what each includes. We offer alerts only.
  • You need notices from portals we do not collect. TenderWorthy collects from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder only. Stotles says on its tenders page that it draws on “100+ sources, aggregated and deduplicated”. We do not collect Public Contracts Scotland, so a firm that bids mainly in Scotland should not rely on us alone.
  • You want AI bid/no-bid reports. Stotles’ Bid Studio Free plan includes 3 lifetime AI bid/no-bid reports (pricing page). We send alerts and do not write or review bids.
  • The free feed already does the job. If you are happy scanning a free list each morning and are not losing time on tenders you cannot qualify for, there is no reason to pay for a filter.

Stotles alternatives and who each suits

Free Find a Tender alerts

gov.uk’s guide shows how to save a search by notice type, SME suitability and contract location and get an email when a matching notice is posted. It says notices are “designed to allow interested parties to look at them free of charge”.

Suits: occasional bidders, and anyone who wants to try alerts before paying for anything. It will not tell you whether you meet a buyer’s requirements.

Contracts Finder email updates

Contracts Finder says you can create an account to get email updates and save your searches, and that you can search and apply without one. It lists contracts worth over £12,000 (including VAT).

Since 24 February 2025 no new procurements are run under the old rules, and new below-threshold opportunities must be advertised on Find a Tender (PPN 019, paras 8a and 8d). Contracts Finder still carries notices for procurements started under the old rules (PPN 019). Our guide to Find a Tender and Contracts Finder explains the split.

Suits: firms whose buyers still have procurements running under the old rules (PPN 019).

Tracker Intelligence

Tracker says on its alerts page that its “tender and contract intelligence draws on 880+ sources across 195 countries”, a global figure rather than a UK count. Its plans page publishes no prices: Price on request (not published). It lists four plans, Iconiq (1 licence), Logiq (3 licences), Dynamiq (5 licences) and Analytiq (5 licences, marked “limited-time offer”), all with UK and ROI coverage, and states a 3-day free trial that is demo-led. All as published on trackerintelligence.com/plans, 11 Oct 2026.

Suits: firms that need coverage outside the UK as well as in it.

Tenders Direct

Tenders Direct says on its tender alert service page that “We scan over 500 tender sources each day, and review every notice to verify the requirements”, with alerts “across the UK and Ireland”. Its pricing plans page shows from £1,359 (billing term not stated on page):

  • Basic £1,359, Core £2,044 (marked “most popular”), Premium £2,319.
  • All three plans have unlimited users. Saved searches are 1, 5 and 100 respectively.
  • The page has a 1/2/3-year billing selector but does not state whether a price covers one year or the whole term chosen, and says nothing on VAT. Ask before you compare it with a monthly price.
  • Tenders Direct states a 7-day free trial at £0, with 1 user and 1 saved search.

All as published on tendersdirect.co.uk, 11 Oct 2026.

Suits: a firm that wants an alert service with wide source coverage, or a team that wants unlimited users on one plan.

TenderWorthy

TenderWorthy collects from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, removes duplicates and, on Pro, emails one digest each morning on days with new matches. You set your sector, postcode and travel radius. On Pro, notices that fit your trade and area are compared with your insurance, certifications and turnover, for what the notice states.

That last qualifier matters. In our data for 3 to 10 Oct 2026, only about 6% of live notices stated insurance requirements, and about 6% named certifications, in the notice itself (29 of 470 each). Most requirements sit in the tender pack, so for most notices you will need to check them there. How the check works shows the detail, and the methodology covers its limits.

Prices: Free, Pro £49/month, Team: coming soon (pricing).

Suits: trade and services firms that lose time on tenders they cannot qualify for, and whose buyers publish on Find a Tender or Contracts Finder. Not for: anyone who needs other portals, buyer research, award data or bid writing.

Using Stotles and TenderWorthy together

If you want both, you can run them side by side. Use Stotles for what it describes on its tenders page: search that “is free and open” across “100+ sources, aggregated and deduplicated” (alerts need an account), plus its paid Sales Studio and Bid Studio plans (pricing page). Use TenderWorthy for an emailed shortlist, checked on Pro against what notices state about your fit.

They are separate subscriptions with no connection between them. We do not claim any integration, and neither product replaces the other.

If you only have time for one, decide which problem costs you more: searching widely for notices, or wasting hours on tenders you cannot qualify for.

Trade marks belong to their owners. TenderWorthy is not affiliated with Stotles, Tracker Intelligence or Tenders Direct.

Questions

Is Stotles free?

Stotles says on its tenders page (stotles.com/tenders) that its tender search is free. Its pricing page (stotles.com/pricing) lists a free plan in each product: Sales Studio Free at £0/mo, and Bid Studio Free at £0 with 3 lifetime AI bid/no-bid reports. Prices as published on stotles.com, 11 Oct 2026. Plans change, so check the page for current limits.

How much are the Stotles Basic and Growth plans?

As published on stotles.com, 11 Oct 2026: in Sales Studio, Basic is from £75–£99/mo (the page shows both figures) and Growth is from £475/mo. In Bid Studio, Growth is from £495/mo. Expert is custom in both. The pricing page states no per-user or annual terms, so ask Stotles whether a price is per user or per account, what period it covers and whether VAT is included.

What is the difference between Stotles and TenderWorthy?

Stotles lists two products on its pricing page (stotles.com/pricing), Sales Studio and Bid Studio, each with a free plan, and says on its tenders page that search is free and open across 100+ sources. TenderWorthy is narrower. On Pro, it sends one digest of tenders from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder and compares notices that fit your trade and area with your insurance, certifications, turnover and travel radius, for what each notice states.

Is there a Stotles alternative for small trade businesses?

It depends what you need. If you just want to know which new tenders you could realistically bid for, free Find a Tender alerts or TenderWorthy are the closest fit. If you also want an open search across 100+ sources, or Stotles' Sales Studio or Bid Studio plans, Stotles may still suit you better.

Can I use Stotles and TenderWorthy together?

Yes, as two separate subscriptions. There is no integration between them and we do not claim one. A sensible split is Stotles for its free, open search and TenderWorthy for the emailed shortlist, if you need both.
