We built TenderWorthy because most tender alerts tell you what exists, not what you can bid for.
What we do
Every night we collect new and updated notices from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder. On Pro, notices for your trade that are not clearly outside your travel radius and do not close within three days are checked overnight against what they state about insurance, certifications, location and size, and each morning we email you the ones that fit your business, on days when there are any. Why we check fit
A small business can lose hours on a tender it was never going to be able to bid for: the buyer wants more insurance cover than you hold, a certificate you do not have, work too far away, or a turnover you have not reached. Alerts that match on keywords do not catch these.
The difficulty is that most of these requirements are not in the notice at all. In the week to 10 Oct 2026, only about 6% of live notices stated insurance requirements in the notice itself. So we do two things: we check what the notice states, and where it is vague or points to the tender documents we flag the point to confirm in the tender pack, rather than guessing.
How we keep it honest
- Fixed rules do the comparison for insurance levels, common certifications, distance and minimum turnover, not the AI. A language model reads the notice text.
- We flag what the notice leaves unclear. A requirement the notice leaves vague or defers to the tender documents, or an insurance level or turnover your profile has no figure for, is never shown as met. We cannot see requirements a notice does not mention, so read the tender pack.
- Every number on the site carries a date, and every alert links to the official notice.
- Our prices are published on the pricing page.
- Comparisons with other services are factual, dated and sourced.
