If you are looking for a contract finder pro alternative, one point first: Contract Finder Pro is a separate, third-party commercial service at contractfinderpro.com. It is not the government’s Contracts Finder, which you can search without an account and which, per PPN 019, still carries notices for procurements started under the old rules. If you typed the name looking for the official site, go to contractsfinder.service.gov.uk or read our guide to using Contracts Finder.

This page is dated as at 12 Oct 2026. TenderWorthy is one of the services compared, so weigh our view accordingly. We publish a competitor’s price only when we have captured it from the vendor’s own page: Stotles, Tracker Intelligence and Tenders Direct on 11 Oct 2026, Contract Finder Pro on 12 Oct 2026.

How we compare. We follow the rules on comparing identifiable competitors: like-for-like needs, features a reader can verify, and no disparagement (CAP Code, section 3; ASA guidance; Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008, regulation 4). Feature and coverage claims are the vendor’s own and are attributed. “Not assessed” means we have not checked this for that vendor, not that the feature is missing. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Contract Finder Pro in brief

Contract Finder Pro’s own site is contractfinderpro.com. We have not tested the service. Its pricing page calls it “The UK & Ireland tender monitoring platform” and lists three plans, with a Monthly/Yearly toggle (yearly shown as “2 months free”): Basic £69 +VAT a month or £690 +VAT a year; Professional £99 +VAT a month or £990 +VAT a year (“Most Popular”); Enterprise for 3+ users at “Contact us” monthly or from £1,960 +VAT a year. Basic lists tailored daily email alerts, flash emails for urgent tenders, “All UK & Ireland Portals Covered”, “2 Million Live & Historical Tenders”, unlimited searches and “CPV Code & Keyword Filtering”; Professional adds competitor analysis, buyer behaviour analysis, a framework and DPS tracker, a weekly awards email and a dedicated account manager. Basic and Professional show a “Join free for 14 days” button, on the vendor’s terms. As published on contractfinderpro.com, 12 Oct 2026. We do not use third-party summaries or review sites, because they are not the vendor’s own statements.

Before you pay anything, open its site and check four things:

  • Is the price you are quoted the monthly or the yearly rate, and is VAT added?
  • Which portals sit behind “All UK & Ireland Portals Covered”: does it name Find a Tender and Contracts Finder?
  • Does it offer award history and buyer research, or alerts only?
  • How are notices matched to you: keywords, codes, or something else?

Who should choose Contract Finder Pro instead

Contract Finder Pro may suit you better than TenderWorthy in these cases, provided its own pages confirm what you need:

  • You research buyers or past awards. Its Professional plan lists competitor analysis, buyer behaviour analysis and a weekly awards email. If you want to know who bought what before you decide to bid, that is a different job from ours. We don’t sell award analytics.
  • You need notices from portals we don’t collect. We cover Find a Tender and Contracts Finder only. Its pricing page says “All UK & Ireland Portals Covered”; if that includes a portal you rely on, such as Public Contracts Scotland, it may fit better. Every UK tender portal shows where each type of buyer publishes.
  • You need more seats than we offer. Our Team plan is coming soon and cannot be bought yet. Contract Finder Pro’s Enterprise plan is for 3+ users, from £1,960 +VAT a year (monthly: “Contact us”).
  • You would rather scan a broad feed. If you like to see everything in your sector and judge fit yourself, a wide search tool suits you better than a shortlist.

Contract Finder Pro alternatives and who each suits

Free government alerts (Find a Tender and Contracts Finder)

gov.uk’s guide shows how to save a Find a Tender search by notice type, SME suitability and contract location, and get an email when a matching notice is posted. Contracts Finder lets you create an account for email updates and saved searches.

Since 24 February 2025 no new procurements are run under the old rules, and new below-threshold opportunities must be advertised on Find a Tender (PPN 019, paras 8a and 8d). Contracts Finder still carries notices for procurements started under the old rules, so watch both. Our guide explains the split, and the free versus paid comparison covers the trade-offs.

Best for: occasional bidders. It will not tell you whether you meet a buyer’s requirements.

Tracker Intelligence

Tracker says on its alerts page that its “tender and contract intelligence draws on 880+ sources across 195 countries”, a global figure rather than a UK count. Its plans page publishes no prices: Price on request (not published), as at 11 Oct 2026. See our Tracker alternatives page.

Best for: firms that need coverage outside the UK as well as in it.

Stotles

Stotles says on its tenders page that its search “is free and open”, with no sign-up needed to look through notices, and that it draws on “100+ sources, aggregated and deduplicated” (alerts need an account). Its pricing page lists two products, Sales Studio and Bid Studio, each with a free plan. Sales Studio starts at Free £0/mo, with Basic from £75–£99/mo (the page shows both), as published on stotles.com, 11 Oct 2026. See our Stotles alternatives page.

Best for: teams that want a free, open search across 100+ sources, or Stotles’ Sales Studio and Bid Studio plans.

Tenders Direct

Tenders Direct says on its tender alert service page that “We scan over 500 tender sources each day, and review every notice to verify the requirements”, with alerts “across the UK and Ireland”. Its pricing page shows plans from £1,359 (billing term not stated on page) and says nothing on VAT, with unlimited users on all plans. As published on tendersdirect.co.uk, 11 Oct 2026. Ask whether a price covers one year or the whole term before comparing it with a monthly price.

Best for: firms wanting broad source coverage, or teams wanting unlimited users on one plan.

TenderWorthy

TenderWorthy collects from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, removes duplicates and, on Pro, emails one digest each morning on days with new matches. On Pro, notices that fit your trade and area are compared with your insurance, certifications and turnover, for what the notice states. In our data for 3 to 10 Oct 2026, only about 6% of live notices stated insurance requirements in the notice itself (29 of 470), so for most notices the insurance level has to be checked in the tender pack. See how it works and the methodology.

We do not collect other portals, and we do not offer award data or bid writing. Prices: Free, Pro £49/month, Team: coming soon (pricing).

Best for: trade and services firms whose buyers publish on Find a Tender or Contracts Finder.

How to choose

  • You bid occasionally. Start with the free alerts above. They cost nothing to run beside any paid tool.
  • You need award history and buyer research. Contract Finder Pro’s Professional plan lists competitor analysis, buyer behaviour analysis and a weekly awards email; check its own pages before you buy.
  • You want fewer, better-fit notices. A checked digest is built for this, within the limits above.

For more services, see our comparison of UK tender alert services.

Trade marks belong to their owners. TenderWorthy is not affiliated with Contract Finder Pro, Tracker Intelligence, Stotles or Tenders Direct, or with the government’s Contracts Finder.

Questions

Is Contract Finder Pro the same as the government's Contracts Finder?

No. Contract Finder Pro is a separate, third-party commercial service at contractfinderpro.com. The government's Contracts Finder is at contractsfinder.service.gov.uk, with a start page at gov.uk/contracts-finder, and gov.uk says you can search it without an account. TenderWorthy is also independent of both.

How much does Contract Finder Pro cost?

Its pricing page showed Basic £69 +VAT a month or £690 +VAT a year, Professional £99 +VAT a month or £990 +VAT a year, and Enterprise for 3+ users at "Contact us" monthly or from £1,960 +VAT a year, as published on contractfinderpro.com on 12 Oct 2026. Yearly is shown as "2 months free". Basic and Professional show a "Join free for 14 days" button, on its own terms. Check the live page before you buy.

Can I get government tender alerts for free?

Yes. gov.uk's guide shows how to save a search on Find a Tender and get an email when a matching notice is posted, and says notices are "designed to allow interested parties to look at them free of charge". Contracts Finder lets you create an account for email updates and saved searches. Neither compares a notice with your insurance or certifications.

Does Contract Finder Pro cover Find a Tender as well as Contracts Finder?

Its pricing page describes the service as "The UK & Ireland tender monitoring platform" and the Basic plan lists "All UK & Ireland Portals Covered" (as published on contractfinderpro.com, 12 Oct 2026). The pricing section we captured does not name Find a Tender or Contracts Finder, so confirm with the vendor. It is worth asking, because under PPN 019 new procurements need their notices on Find a Tender, while Contracts Finder still carries notices for procurements started under the old rules.

Does TenderWorthy cover more sources than Contract Finder Pro?

No. Contract Finder Pro says it covers all UK and Ireland portals; we have not tested that claim. TenderWorthy covers Find a Tender and Contracts Finder only. It does not collect Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales or eTendersNI. If you need those, check which portals each service lists before you pay.
